There are different ways to own a racehorse. At Charles Gourdain Racing, we can help you turn your dream of owning a racehorse into reality.
For more information you can contact us and consult France Galop's website. We would be pleased to help you find the best solution and to take care of all the administrative approaches.
Sole ownership
You are the horse’s owner and you have your own silks. In that case, any costs and profits will be yours only.
You will be able to choose the name of your horse, see him grow up and progress throughout his career. And why not choose to offer him a progeny ?
Leasing
You rent a part or the entirety of a racehorse to his owner.
You only pay care costs depending of your investment (10%, 50%, 100%).
If you rent at least 10% of the horse, your thoroughbred can run with your own silks.
Partnerships
You acquire a horse with several other owners and get to be part of a real team adventure. The number of joint ownerships can go up to 20 private persons.
Racing Clubs
Racing clubs offer a low priced introduction into racehorse involvement and makes you discover the racing world at your own pace.
You share the ownership with dozenS of other people.
By joining or becoming a member of a racing club you receive the same benefits as any owner: VIP card, invitations to big events, free access to training etc.
